Kenji, an aspiring Japanese actor by day and an Uber driver by night, frequently finds himself standing in for his more successful rival, Chris, an established Asian actor. One evening, Kenji unknowingly picks up Chris as a passenger, and their ride takes an unexpected turn.

Hiromu Yamawaki

Hiromu Yamawaki is a writer/director based in Vancouver, who works on stories about intercultural experiences in multiple languages. He was born and raised in Tottori, Japan. He studied Film at Carleton University and Film Production at VFS. His primary interest is realizing Asian representation on screen and behind the camera.
