It’s Real to Me

Moira, a young woman troubled with nightmares that play out in her reality, tries to warn her friend, Allie, about her incoming death. Allie, however, turns Moira away considering the morbid subject. Eventually, Moira finds a way to change the outcome of the dream – providing Allie the chance to survive.

Driven by a passion for the cinematic process, Ruben Harjono wrote and directed his first short film It”s Real to Me in 2023. Raised in Toronto, Ontario, his love of film photography influences his storytelling, crafting thought-provoking narratives that explore morality, ethics, and the human psyche.
