A veterinarian named Alison arrives at her client’s house to euthanize their family dog, but an unexpected glitch in the routine procedure leaves everyone confused and in tears.

Aidan Cheeatow is a filmmaker from Toronto. His short Deadpan is shown at Cinefést Sudbury, Reelworld Film Festival, and VAFF 2024. His work explores family structure and the importance of nature versus nurture. Aidan is currently developing his first feature film supported by the Canada Council for the Arts.
