A solitary old man, estranged from his family, saves a troubled teenager from a suicide attempt, leading them to form an unexpected bond. As they share secrets and support each other, they embark on a journey of self-discovery that empowers them to confront their fears and pursue their true desires.

Tianyuan He is a director and scriptwriter. She received her master’s degree from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. In 2018, The Commitment, which was also the first feature film she wrote, received the Special Mention award at the Montréal World Film Festival.
