Minerva Navasca

Minerva Navasca is a Filipina filmmaker, who immigrated from the Philippines at nine years old. She focuses on narratives intimately reflecting her experiences with cultural dysphoria and girlhood. Minerva uses filmmaking as an outlet to confront internalized shame and anger, and hopes to stir self-compassion by sharing these narratives openly.
