The Lost Salmon follows Ali, an Iranian student in Vancouver, grappling with homesickness and worry for his family amid political turmoil. Finding solace in music and support from his host Mariam and friend Marcus, Ali decides to build a future in Canada, despite his sister’s absence and longing for home.
