The Death of James

Based on a true story, The Death of James follows two young friends confronting the impending loss of their cherished pet ferret. This film blends humor and heartbreak, offering an unflinching look at mortality, loss, and euthanasia, as they navigate these challenges for the first time.

Sam Chou

Sam Chou is a Toronto-based filmmaker/animator. His works, including First Snowfall and VRDLK, acclaimed at festivals like Fantasia, have garnered wide recognition. As the 2023 TAFFI Kaj Pindal Award recipient, he’s developing a film inspired by his award-winning thriller, In the Heat, featured at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
